The Miraculous Medal was given to St Catherine Laboure from Our Lady, who promised all who wear this image will receive great graces. The front of the medal stands on a globe crushing the head of the serpent, symbolizing her role as the new Eve. The back of the medal with an "M" below a cross where Mary stands firm at the foot with all of us who worship her Son, Our Lord. The 12 Stars represent the Apostles.
